The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia is pleased to announce that effective October 1, 2017, Judge Wendy L. Hagenau will assume the duties of Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Georgia.

The order of appointment, issued by the judges of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia on April 27, 2017, provides for a five-year term of office.
