Effective immediately, the Unclaimed Funds procedures and forms for GANB have changed.  Instructions and required forms to petition the Court for payment of unclaimed funds may be found on the Georgia Northern Bankruptcy Court’s website under the Court Information tab. 
 
Reminder:  You may search for unclaimed funds in more than 80 court units at no charge by using the U.S. Bankruptcy Unclaimed Funds Locator.

1. Select GANB – Northern District of Georgia in the drop-down list labeled “Court” to limit your search to this Court.  If you do not select a court unit, the information provided will be from all participating courts.
2. To narrow your search, enter other fields in the search utility, as appropriate.
3. Click on Search.

Consistent with the new forms, the event in CM/ECF for docketing the application for payment of unclaimed funds has been updated and can be found under Bankruptcy > Motions/Applications > Application for Payment of Unclaimed Funds.
