An Initial Statement About an Eviction Judgment Against You (Form 101A) is filed if the debtor has answered Yes in Section 11 of the Voluntary Petition (Form B101) disclosing the debtor rents their residence and their landlord has obtained an eviction judgment and the debtor wants to remain in the residence.

In this initial statement, the debtor certifies that 1) under state or other non-bankruptcy law that applies to the judgment for possession (eviction judgment), the debtor has the right to stay in their residence by paying their landlord the entire delinquent amount; and 2) that the debtor has given the bankruptcy court a deposit for the rent that would be due during the 30 days, after filing for bankruptcy.
