Public Notice Regarding the Entry of Two General Orders

Chief Judge Ellis-Monro entered two general orders on behalf of the Court on February 6, 2023.

Second Amended and Restated General Order 26-2019, which establishes procedures for use throughout the District in Chapter 11 cases that are designated by the Court as Complex Chapter 11 Cases has been amended by the Court as follows:

Section B, paragraph 1 is amended to change both the composition of the complex case judge panel and the term to be served by a judge on the panel.

Section B, paragraph 3  is amended to provide that effective August 1, 2023, the Panel judges will be Judge Paul M. Baisier, Judge Jeffery W. Cavender and Judge Sage M. Sigler.  The requirement for a separate general order designating the complex case panel judges is superseded by the Second Amended and Restated Order.

Amended and Restated General Order 37-2020 is amended to replace the reference in paragraph two from General Order 21-2017 with a reference to General Order 41-2020 which superseded General Order 21-2017.
