Effective Monday, August 19, 2019, a new CM/ECF event will be available to the Chapter 13 trustees and attorneys representing debtors in Chapter 13 cases. The event, Request for Order Terminating Employer Deduction Order, replaces the need to submit an order for this relief. Screenshots and instructions related to this new event may be viewed here.
This docket text-only event may be used to request the entry of an order terminating an employer deduction order (EDO) in converted or dismissed cases, and in cases where the Chapter 13 trustee has filed a Notice of Plan Completion. Each request will be reviewed by Clerk’s Office staff to confirm that a qualifying event has occurred before entry of an order terminating the EDO.
When the new event is live, it will replace the event currently being used Proposed Order Terminating EDO (Conversion/Dismissal ONLY). Any requests pending at the time this event is disabled will be processed in normal course.
