Public Notice Regarding the Entry of General Order 45-2021 Procedures for Submitting Pleadings by Debtors Not Represented by an Attorney (“Pro se Debtors”) and General Order 46-2021 Designation of Panel for Complex Chapter 11 Cases

Please review General Order 45-2021 entered by the Court on July 12, 2021.  This order supersedes General Order 40-2020 which established electronic filing procedures for parties not represented by an attorney.  General Order 45-2021 changes the deadlines for the submission of original signed documents submitted via the Emergency Filing System from 14 to 10 days.

Please review General Order 46-2021 entered by the Court on July 12, 2021.  Beginning February 1, 2022, the Hon. Barbara Ellis-Monro will begin a three-year term on the panel for complex Chapter 11 cases filed in the Atlanta Division of the Northern District.  Judge Sacca remains on the panel pursuant to General Order 39-2020.
